Course Structure with Specialisation
Whether you decide to pursue a general MBA or MBA with a specialisation, VIT will ensure that the qualification you are completing is always industry focused and relevant internationally. To cater to different student’s individual needs, VIT offers four MBA distinctive specialisations.
Qualification Rule
To attain the MBA qualification, student will need to obtain a total of 16 units (96 credit points) without recognition of prior learning (RPL), plus a total of 12 units (72 credit points) with RPL.
- 8 Core units and 16 Elective units
- Compulsory units:
- Business Project (equal to 12 credit points);
- Specialisation (4 available): Information System, Management, Tourism and Hospitality, Finance and Accounting
Entry Requirements
- An English Language proficiency level of one of the below:
- An appropriate English Language proficiency level i.e. Academic IELTS band overall 6.5 and no individual band less than 6.0 OR equivalent
- Other equivalent English Proficiency Level Accepted:
- TOEFL iBT (overall score of 79 with no score less than 60) OR PTE Academic (overall score of 58 with no score less than 50); OR
- CAE/CPE (overall test scale of 176 with no individual scale less than 169)
Note: IELTS or equivalent is NOT required for Applicants who have local Australian Degree; or Degree where the language of instruction was English.
